About Us

Mobile/Modular Express is a manufacturer of quality constructed mobile office trailers, modular buildings and equipment shelters for commercial applications. Originally started in 1989 as a retail dealer, the company marketed products fabricated at other manufacturing facilities.

Having satisfied thousands of customers with our personal service approach, the company was increasingly frustrated with the lack of adequate product availability. In 1998 Mobile/Modular Express shifted its focus from a marketing company and entered the manufacturing arena. Within thirty days our facility was transformed from a repair shop into a manufacturing facility. On February 1st, 1998 we began production of the first unit and have been in continuous production ever since.

On October 31, 2008, Mobile/Modular Express acquired substantially all of the assets of the former Miller Building Systems. Miller Building Systems was previously engaged in the manufacture of Commercial Modular Buildings and Equipment Shelters for the Telecommunications industry. This acquisition added approximately 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space to service the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region as well as the Mid-West area. The strategic locations of the manufacturing facilities will minimize shipping costs to the major population centers in each market and the available manufacturing space lends itself to quicker delivery of finished products.

Our focus in this market is on the manufacturing of a quality product. Keeping focused in this area allows us to be proficient and develop methods to provide our product at a reasonable price. We market our Commercial Modular Buildings through a network of dealers that are well versed in the intricacies of modular building construction. Our dealers will arrange transportation to your site, provide installation services at your location and, in many instances, will offer ancillary services to provide you with a 100% turn-key building project.

In addition to the construction related services provided by our dealers, many are prepared to offer flexible financial arrangements to help you fit the building that you need into the budget that you have. For instance, all of our buildings can be acquired through an outright purchase, lease with length of lease period determined by customer need, lease-to-own, lease with purchase option at end of lease, as well as a variety of financial vehicles available to municipal and government entities.
