Multi-Section Buildings
Multi-Section Buildings are comprised of multiple modular units, configured to suit the intended building use and occupancy. The sizes of the individual modular sections are flexible and can be adjusted as required for specific designs.
When multiple units are put together, walls can be eliminated to create large interior rooms for classroom space, conference space or re-locatable partition systems. Permanent interior walls can be arranged to divide the interior space for a specific layout.
Restrooms, break rooms and conference rooms can be centralized to provide a convenient flow, without duplicating common facilities. A comfortable work environment is achieved with central heating and cooling, appropriate fluorescent lighting, and commercial grade interior finishes.
Due to the ease of relocation, multi-section modular buildings can be installed at your site, used for the duration of a project and subsequently moved to a new destination, all at a reasonable cost. The modular units are constructed to withstand repeated moves without degradation of their structural integrity.
These buildings arrive on site with complete plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, which helps to minimize or eliminate the use of these trades on site. This method of construction allows occupancy of the building much faster than conventional construction because time is not lost on site due to scheduling conflicts between trades or uncooperative weather conditions. Usually, any site work required for placement of the building is in process while the building is being manufactured.
This expedites the total overall process because two major tasks are occurring at the same time. Site work and foundations are in process while the building is under construction. In other construction methods, the construction of the building cannot begin until the foundation has been completed.
Our Multi-Section modular buildings are available in a variety of construction types; wood frame, steel frame and the ultimate in versitility — the Versi-Plex system. Our Versi-Plex unit is designed with open web steel bar joists to allow a totally unobstructed interior space. Interior support columns are not required and interior partitions can be arranged to suit your layout without regard to support of the roof structure. With this system, your interior layout can be changed to move or eliminate partitions as your needs change. The mechanical cavity above the suspended ceiling is the perfect place to route telephone and data wiring and allows the future flexibility to make changes to your systems as the technology is updated.
