Mobile Modular Ready to Meet the Needs of First Responders

Background

In the midst of a global pandemic, first responders must react quickly and safely at a moment’s notice. They need the right tools and solutions available in order to meet their needs and those of the public. So, when the Long Beach Fire Department reached out to Mobile Modular with an urgent request for building units to accommodate the emergency response team, we were ready to assist.

The Mobile Modular team started by assessing how best to meet their needs and then sent over a selection of floor plans for them to review. The challenge was to be able to match their unique requirements to our inventory and deliver immediately, as this was a time sensitive need.

The Timeline

On March 18, 2020 we delivered an initial order of three singlewide units. The next day, the department put in an order for an additional eight units, and we had them delivered by Friday, March 20. In total, 11 units were delivered for immediate use.
