The manufacturing of our buildings is the final step in the process. Before assembly can begin, the product has to be defined as to size, layout, configuration, use of the building and any site related restrictions. Under normal circumstances, the process flow is as described below:

Quote:

The client will forward to Mobile/Modular Express the parameters for the design of the building. These documents may be formally prepared with the final design already determined or they may be informal, in that it may be a list of spaces to be incorporated with an approximate building size and an idea for the interior and exterior finishes. From this information, we will develop a quotation and specification, based on our understanding of the requirement.

Code Review:

During the quote process the building design is reviewed for compliance with the governing building codes. Occasionally, the code review may alter the building design and potentially impact the cost.

Design:

Complete construction drawings are prepared using computed aided drafting. The drawing package incorporates all components of the building including the electrical system, the plumbing system the mechanical system and the structural assemblies. Before manufacturing begins, the drawings are provided to the user for review and approval. As a result of this review, revisions will be incorporated and the drawings will be resubmitted for final approval.

Material Acquisition:

After the design is finalized, materials are purchased to begin fabrication. Many materials are purchased in large volumes, allowing us to keep our costs competitive. Material deliveries are scheduled to coincide with the production of the modular unit. As materials arrive, they are sorted, stored and marked for specific projects.

Quality Control:

During the fabrication process, the modular unit is inspected at each phase of assembly to insure compliance with design drawings and construction documents, to make sure that materials are being used in the correct manner and the method of installation is appropriate. In process and final inspections assure quality during the structural assembly and final cosmetic appearance is suited to the material used.
