KIPP Stockton Elementary Modular School

A Custom Modular Solution Delivered by Enviroplex

Background

As KIPP Public Schools of Northern California continued expanding its presence in Stockton, the University Park campus required modern, permanent-quality learning spaces to support its growing K–8 student population—without disrupting the school’s mission or academic timeline. Enviroplex partnered with KIPP to deliver modular classroom buildings that blended seamlessly into the existing campus while meeting both functional and aesthetic goals. The new classrooms were designed to support both academic instruction and social-emotional learning in bright, welcoming environments.

What We Did

Enviroplex delivered five general-purpose modular classrooms with integrated multi-fixture restrooms, totaling 15,840 square feet. A mix of vaulted and standard ceiling buildings was selected to enhance spatial variety and maximize natural light. Custom oversized glazing extended 8-foot front overhangs, and suspended steel canopies created a bright, approachable campus presence while also improving durability and weather protection. The buildings were installed on concrete foundations and featured permanent-quality exterior and interior finishes to ensure long-term performance with minimal maintenance.

Challenges

KIPP University Park required a fast, reliable construction solution that would meet permanent-building standards while aligning with the school’s operational schedule and long-term campus vision. The project needed to balance speed of delivery with durability, aesthetics, and student-centered design—all while integrating seamlessly into an active school environment.

Team Effort

We worked collaboratively with KIPP Public Schools of Northern California and project partners to ensure clarity, quality, and reliability throughout the design and delivery process. Close coordination across design, manufacturing, and installation teams enabled the successful delivery of permanent modular classrooms that met educational, architectural, and operational requirements.
