Mobile Modular Created a High Quality and Functional Temporary School Locker Room Complete with Amenities

Background

In August 2021, hurricane Ida devastated Vandebilt Catholic High School, including their locker room. To continue facilitating their sports programs, their campus needed a temporary locker room. Due to the strict timeline, Mobile Modular’s solutions were recommended to VCHS by a local architect.

The Solution

Mobile Modular was contacted by the school to develop and provide a floor plan that would benefit the school’s sports teams. The modular solution was to deliver and install seven modules for a total of 4,648 sq. ft. with a 24-month lease option. The units were manufactured, delivered, and installed within the stringent time frame needed, allowing the school to resume its athletic programs with a fully functioning locker room on campus.

Extra Amenities

The 83’x56’ locker room includes a large open area for lockers and athletes as well as offices for coaches and staff. It also includes an equipment storage room, a laundry room, and restrooms equipped with four showers. The newly built facility was designed with the exterior representing the school’s colors to allow for a seamless temporary addition to the campus.
