A Custom Modular Solution Delivered by Enviroplex
Background
As KIPP Public Schools of Northern California continued expanding educational access for families in Stockton, the organization required a campus solution that could be delivered efficiently without compromising quality, safety, or student experience. The KIPP Stockton Elementary School project called for modern learning environments designed specifically to support early education while aligning with KIPP’s long-term growth vision. Enviroplex worked in close collaboration with the project team to deliver permanent-quality modular classrooms that establish a welcoming, functional foundation for young learners.
What We Did
Enviroplex delivered six Daylight Jr. modular classroom buildings totaling 20,480 square feet. The buildings were designed to feel permanent and purpose-built, featuring vaulted ceilings, custom glazing, and thoughtful layouts that maximize natural light and interior volume. Exterior design elements such as stucco finishes and shed roof profiles integrate seamlessly with the surrounding campus, reinforcing a cohesive, long-term school aesthetic. Safety and performance were also key priorities, with the inclusion of a pre-engineered fire sprinkler system and adherence to project-specific design standards.
Challenges
The project required balancing speed of delivery with the need for durable, permanent-quality facilities tailored to early learners. KIPP needed classrooms that could be delivered efficiently while meeting strict safety, code, and performance requirements, all within the context of a growing school community and active campus environment.
Team Effort
Collaboration was central from early planning through installation. Enviroplex worked closely with KIPP Public Schools of Northern California and project partners to ensure alignment across design, manufacturing, and installation. This coordinated approach resulted in a cohesive campus solution that balances architectural character with practical functionality.
