Mobile Modular Steps Up During COVID-19 to Help a Daycare Expand

The Challenge

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Montessori Radmoor School was looking for additional classrooms along with site upgrades. Because of the lack of onsite construction resources and manpower during this time, Mobile Modular was chosen to work alongside Stevens Architects for a turnkey solution for the campus.

The Solution

Mobile Modular designed a new, custom modular building with three classrooms, restrooms, and a warming kitchen. From design to manufacturing, delivery, installation, and site hook-ups, Mobile Modular managed every aspect of this project to ensure a turnkey solution was delivered in a timely manner.

Mobile Modular obtained zoning, local, and state approvals as well as inspection for this customer due to the shortage of contractors available. We also implemented full site supervision and management to honor the school boards’ concern about construction causing safety hazards and disruptions to their campus. At project completion, Montessori Radmoor School had a custom modular addition to their campus with a permanent, site-built feel.
