Mobile Modular Builds Natural-Looking Turnkey Dormitory to Solve Campus Density Issue

Background

The Holderness School reached out to Mobile Modular to assist with a new modular dormitory that would house 12 students and 1 faculty staff as they had a campus density issue and needed additional space for the students. The school wanted a building to blend in with the wooded environment and have minimal impact on the neighboring dormitory. The school wanted a fully turnkey solution so they could focus on other important campus projects while we completed the new 96’x42′ modular dormitory.

The Solution

The Mobile Modular team worked with the school, architects, engineers, and a variety of subcontractors to provide a solution that satisfied all the expectations of the customer. Mobile Modular was able to create a suitable floor plan using schematics from previous projects to help expedite the design period. The aesthetics of the interior/exterior of The Holderness School were important and gave the modular solution a more permanent feel. We installed a gable roof with an 8/12 pitch to help with the heavy snow during the New Hampshire winter season.
