Mobile Modular Provides Long-Awaited Conveniences for Some of California’s Finest

Background

Law enforcement is one of the toughest jobs out there. Imagine a daily job where you are expected to prevent loss of life, injuries, and property damage. Given what is expected of them, law enforcement personnel deserve the best in on-site conveniences. When a law enforcement agency in Woodland California decided they needed a new locker room and shower facility for officers, Mobile Modular met the challenge.

The Challenge

Because a gable roof was requested and would have made the structure too tall to transport, the roof was installed at the site. Additionally, ceramic tile for the showers and other areas was installed on-site, as tile doesn’t hold up well during transportation. Other work completed on-site included trusses, locker installation, flooring, restroom partitions, counter tops, and all plumbing fixtures. In total, an amazing 23 vendors contributed to this project. Agencies that oversaw or contributed to the project include Department of General Services, the Department of State Architects, and the State Fire Marshall.

Our Solutions

The finished structure, completed in 2022, is 1848 square feet, with state-of-the-art men’s and women’s locker rooms, showers, and an issue room where officers can charge their radios and store additional equipment. The well-designed locker room is efficiently built to accommodate the team’s needs. Woodland law enforcement did not previously have any showers or lockers at their facility, so this was a long-awaited addition.
