Background

The Limetree Bay Terminals facility consists of approximately 32 million barrels of crude oil and petroleum product storage, idled refinery units with a total peak processing capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, and a deep-water port with 10 petroleum docks.

The Project

Mobile Modular purchased, disassembled, relocated, and reassembled a massive 489-module accommodation facility from the frozen ground of Saskatchewan to the Caribbean island of St Croix – all at a blistering pace.

The Process

The first 1,020 beds were ready within 6 months (with 450 additional beds delivered and installed in the following months). The project entailed the coordination of hundreds of contractors, trucking, rail, and ocean freight over 5,000 miles – all on time and on budget.
